In "Gods Liefde en de toekomst van de wereld" beschrijf ik de volgende onderwerpen:
- Lange tijd was ik onzeker over de toekomst van de wereld door alle klimaatveranderingen, oorlogen, natuurrampen, hongersnoden en veer meer ernstige misère. De vraag in mijn hoofd werd steeds luider: leven we over 40 jaar nog wel, wat is de toekomst van onze (klein-)kinderen en is er een modus te vinden om samen te blijven leven in harmonie, liefde en geluk?
- Ook speelde bij mij een latente angst voor moslims: de ene moslim moordt en de ander is volstrekt vredelievend en beide groepen claimen, met de Koran in de hand, dat ze de ware moslim zijn! Hoe kan dit en wat zijn feitelijk hun drijfveren?
Ik besloot dat ik de Heilige Boeken van de Islam en het Christendom zou raadplegen om zodoende een antwoord te vinden op beide vragen. Was het ijdele hoop? Tien jaar heb ik erover gedaan om beide Heilige boeken te begrijpen en ik heb op momenten ondersteuning gekregen van een groep islamitische Koran-kenners en ook van een goed in de Bijbel ingevoerde christen.
Na meerdere jaren van Koran- en Bijbelstudie werd me heel veel meer duidelijk. Ook heb ik me verdiept in de historie en ontwikkelingen van beide religies.
Waarom Islam en Christendom? Ik weet dat beide wereldreligies Jezus Christus erkennen als de Messias, de redder van de wereld.
Met alle antwoorden op mijn vragen en veel meer inzichten in wat er nu gebeurt en zeker nog komen gaat, vroeg mijn echtgenote (Marjolein) me: "Is het goed om deze inzichten voor jezelf te houden?", "Waarom deel je ze niet met velen nu je weet dat zeer velen zich op de zelfde manier als jij zorgen maken over de toekomst?"
Ze had natuurlijk gelijk. Het zou volstrekt egocentrisch zijn als ik een modus had gevonden om te overleven en ik zou dit niet delen met velen.
De start van het schrijfproces was toen een feit en twee jaar later is het nu zover. Mijn boek is gereed in de Nederlandse en in de Engelse taal. Ik zou dit boek graag internationaal gaan uitgeven waarbij het mijn ultieme doel is de opbrengsten van de verkoop ervan te gebruiken voor jonge getalenteerde mensen die geen kansen hebben of krijgen zich goed te ontwikkelen.
Zet vooral getalenteerde jonge mensen in hun kracht!
Zelf behoorde ik in mijn jongensjaren ook tot deze groep jonge mensen. Er waren toen verschillende mensen die zich mijn lot toe hebben aangetrokken. Ik ben ze nog altijd zeer dankbaar daarvoor ook als leven ze al lang niet meer. Mijn herinneringen aan hen zijn me zeer dierbaar. Het waren de Engelen op mijn Levenspad en heb dus ook hierover een boek geschreven met titel: 'Onverwachte Zegeningen' en met de subtitel 'met engelen op mijn pad. Mijn devies en doelstelling nu: PAY IT FORWARD!

In 'God's Love and the Future of the World' I describe the following issues:
For a long time I was uncertain about the future of the world because of all the climate changes, wars, natural disasters, famines and other miseries. The question in my head grew louder and louder: will we still be alive in 40 years, what will be the future of our (grand)children and can we find a way to continue living together in harmony, love and happiness?
A latent fear of Muslims also played in my mind: one Muslim kills and the other is completely peace-loving and both groups claim, with the Koran in their hands, that they are the true Muslims! How can this be and what are their real motives?
I decided to consult the holy books of Islam and Christianity to find an answer to both questions. Was it a vain hope? It took me ten years to understand both Holy Books, and at times I was assisted by a group of Islamic Qur'an experts and also by a Christian who was well versed in the Bible.
After several years of Quran and Bible study, much more became clear to me. I also immersed myself in the history and development of both religions.
Why Islam and Christianity? I know that both world religions accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Saviour of the world.
With all the answers to my questions and many more insights into what is happening now and certainly to come, my wife (Marjolein) asked me: 'Is it right to keep these insights to yourself?', 'Why don't you share them with many now that you know that many are as worried about the future as you are?
She was right, of course. It would be completely self-centred for me to find a way to survive and not share it with many.
The start of the writing process was then a reality, and two years later it is here. My book is finished in Dutch and English. I would like to publish this book internationally, where my ultimate goal is to use the proceeds from its sale to help young talented people who do not have or do not get the opportunity to develop well.
Above all, to empower talented young people!
I myself belonged to this group of young people in my youth. There were a few people who took notice of my fate. I am still very grateful to them, although they have not been alive for a long time. My memories of them are very dear to me. They were the angels on my path of life and so I wrote a book about them with the title 'Unexpected Blessings' and the subtitle 'With Angels on My Path'. My motto and goal now: PAY IT FORWARD!
De auteur heeft een leven als een spannend jongensboek.
Hij heeft met zijn talenten gewoekerd en vrijwel alles uit zijn leven gehaald wat erin zat. Dit gaat natuurlijk altijd gepaard met risico's en lotswisselingen.
Hij heeft in zijn leven nooit een plafond gevoeld. De magere jaren in zijn leven bleken een belangrijke levensfase te zijn met veel levenslessen en ook zeer veel zegeningen.
Terugkijkend op zijn leven, met zijn echtgenote Marjolein, herkende hij tal van momenten waarin er dan altijd net iemand hem toeviel die hem verder hielp in een positieve richting.
Het waren engelen die, op die manier, de rode draad vormden in zijn leven. Deze regie op zijn leven was niet in zijn eigen handen.
Cees beschrijft dit fenomeen openhartig en deelt daarbij de opgedane ervaringen met u als lezer.

Iets over de engelen op de levensweg van de auteur. Zeer veel mensen erkennen retrospectief engelen op hun levensweg en zoals prof. dr. Paul de Chauvigny de Blot SJ Lic. PH in het voorwoord van dit boek schrijft: "Dit boek is geen meditatieboek maar het toont ons als lezer in een spiegelbeeld onze goddelijke ervaring die we niet onder woorden kunnen brengen. Het is zeker de moeite waard om het te lezen als je er open voor staat. Ik wens de lezer met een gelovige ervaring, met dit boek een rijker spiritueel inzicht toe."

He has proliferated with his talents and got almost everything out of his life that he could.Of course, this always comes with risks and changes of fate.
He never felt a ceiling in his life.The lean years in his life turned out to be an important phase of life with many life lessons and also very many blessings.
Looking back on his life, with his wife Marjolein, he recognised numerous moments in which then there always just happened to be someone who helped him along in a positive direction.
They were angels who, in this way, formed the thread running through his life.This direction of his life was not in his own hands.
Cees candidly describes this phenomenon, sharing his experiences with you, the reader.

Something about the angels on the author's life journey.Very many people retrospectively recognise angels on their path of life, and as Prof Paul de Chauvigny de Blot SJ Lic. PH writes in the foreword to this book, ‘This book is not a meditation book but it shows us as readers in a mirror image our divine experience that we cannot put into words. It is definitely worth reading if you are open to it.I wish the reader with a believing experience, with this book, a richer spiritual insight.’

De succesvolle manager heeft volop oog voor de emotionele waarden van de organisatie. Slaagt hij erin die emoties in balans te brengen met de ratio in die onderneming, de organisatie, dan opent hij daarmee de weg naar succes. Met het bewust benoemen en gebruiken van de emotionele waarden in zijn dagelijkse praktijk, brengt hij mensen in hun kracht en daarmee kracht in de organisatie. Cees Buys beschrijft het managen van emoties naast het respect voor de ratio op eenvoudige wijze met twee leidende principes:
1. Emotionele waarden: een organisatie is een verzameling mensen en de mens is, primair, een 'verzameling emoties'. Laat mensen zich ontwikkelen op basis van hun talenten, van waar hun hart ligt. Ze komen zo in hun kracht, gaan excelleren en nemen de organisatie op sleeptouw. Vertrouwen is de basis. Faciliteer dit proces bewust, controleer en waardeer de mens met respect.
2. Rationele waarden: ontwikkel de bedrijfsmatige kant van de organisatie optimaal.
De mate waarin u Emotie en Ratio met elkaar in balans weet te brengen, bepaalt de mate van succes.

The successful manager is fully aware of the emotional values of the organisation. If he succeeds in balancing those emotions with the ratio in that company, the organisation, he thereby opens the way to success.By consciously naming and using the emotional values in his daily practice, he empowers people and thus strengthens the organisation. Cees Buys describes managing emotions alongside respecting reason in a simple way with two guiding principles:
1. Emotional values: an organisation is a collection of people and people are, primarily, a ‘collection of emotions’. Let people develop on the basis of their talents, of where their heart lies.They will thus come into their own, excel and take the organisation in tow. Trust is the basis. Facilitate this process consciously, control and value people with respect.
2.Rational values: develop the business side of the organisation optimally.
The degree to which you manage to balance Emotion and Ratio determines the degree of success.
